Hailing from Chennai, the school serves the sacred art of Bharathanatyam now in Bangalore has been imparting this knowledge in its pristine purity - the world famous Kalakshetra Style, since 30 plus years. The institute's Associate Director Soujanya Madhusudan, established its footprint in the USA's Keystone state, Pennsylvania at Exton and now has its branch in Houston TX. Soujanya has been an avid student, a performing artiste and a well experienced teacher of Bharatanatyam since 25 years and has support from her mother-in-law Smt Nagamani Srinivasa Rao (well known as Mani akka amongst her disciples), the institute's Director and the sister of the Legendary Guru Padmashri Adyar K Lakshman of Chennai. Besides offering Bharatanatyam in Kalakshetra style the institute also offers carnatic vocal music classes for all age group by experienced teacher and musician Sri Madhusudan Rao. Madhusudan Rao hails from a family of musicians and artists and is the son of Guru Smt Nagamani Srinivasa Rao. He is a professional vocalist and mridangist. The institute offers online classes in Bharatanatyam and Carnatic vocal are also offered to aspiring students.
