Indian Beauty Tips

Women of Indian
descent are considered to be amongst the most beautiful
women in the world. The dusky complexion, the classic
features, the thick lustrous black hair and the luminous and
expressive eyes are some of the clichés used to describe a
Bharatiya nari.
Hair Care:
Here are
some tips to keep hair problems away...
Women who
crave for thicker, longer hair with more volume and bounce
should not only nourish their hair follicles, but must
also maintain a healthy lifestyle.Sufficient blood
circulation to the scalp is essential for the overall
maintenance of hair.
Regular
exercise and a diet comprising of proteins and iron would
add life to your hair.
Aviod hair
breakage while combing wet hair. One must not pull at hair
caught in the comb since this tugging can lead to serious
damage of the hair.Combing wet hair might retard hair
growth in some cases. It is recommended that knots in the
hair(especially long hair) be removed after applying some
oil.
One of the
basic rules to good hair care is using a strong,
wide-toothed comb that is at the same time not too harsh
on the hair.
Decrease the
use of chemicals and styling gels on your hair .
The best way
to dry your hair would be by gently towelling it.Frequent
drying of hair with dryers would render the hair weak and
brittle.
Don't perm or
color your hair if it is very thin and limp.
There is
nothing like a vigorous hair massage with warm coconut oil
before a hair wash. The goodness of coconut oil percolating
down the scalp would not only promote hair growth but is
also a time-tested remedy for loosening tense nerves!
Oil treatment
is also recommended for dry and damaged hair that is
dandruff-prone.
Although Henna
is favored by many as a great conditioner, too much of it
might add a red shine to your natural hair color.
They might
make your bathroom messy but natural ingredients like amla
and shikakai are recommended by experts to give your hair
that extra bounce and softness.
Avoid theSun:
Sunny skies are
here again! Great- but too much exposure to the sun can have
adverse effects on your skin.
-
Don't forget to apply sunscreen lotions before stepping
out.Check if the brand that you're using guarantees total
protection against UV rays, for only then would it be effective
as a sunblock.
-
The
face is the most important part of the body with regard to sun
protection.Constant exposure to the harsh rays of the sun can
cause premature ageing and wrinkles on your face.Protect your
face from the sun with a hat or umbrella and re-apply
sunscreen lotion on your face, especially on the nose.
-
Hey
lady-wear your sun-glasses to protect the delicate skin around
the eyes from the UV rays. Photochromatic lenses are more
convenient than ordinary sun-glasses, because they regulate the
light hitting the eyes.
-
For
those of you who don't prefer using chemicals, a mixture of
cucumber juice, glycerine and rose water works great as a
protection against the sun. It's soothing properties is
considered effective for curing sunburns.
